The Senior Director of Perioperative and Perinatal Services will evaluate current policy and standards to ensure patient care and quality is being met while discovering areas for improvement strategies. The Vice President of Surgical and Maternal Services will work with other healthcare professionals to develop new programs/services to increase department efficiency and level of patient care. The Senior Director of Surgical and Perinatal Services will report directly to the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Nursing Services to analyze reports, budgets and utilization parameters. The Sr. Director of Perioperative and Maternal Services will solve intra and interdepartmental problems that inhibit work flow, quality of care, employee performance, and ethical or system issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a surgical department and current RN licensure.
