Job Description
We are seeking a capable and experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager/Estimator who is looking to grow with our company and can handle high volume work with multiple projects primarily located in SB, OC, Riverside and LA County. Adept at managing jobs and accurately preparing estimates to ensure timely, efficient and profitable completion of jobs in line with company profit targets.
Minimum Job Experience, Skills and Abilities
Candidates should meet or surpass the following requirements:
ï¼ Minimum of 3 years of Project Management of Commercial Electrical Jobs:
ï¼ Ability to take projects from start to finish including precon, estimating and project management of projects ranging from $5K to $1.5 M in electrical scope
ï¼ Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers both in person and over the phone is required
ï¼ Minimum 5 years of hands on prior experience as an Electrician in the Commercial Electrical Contracting trade
ï¼ Ability to manage and meet customer expectations, deliver on time and within budget
ï¼ Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, perform accurate material takeoffs, and compile this information into a complete estimate.
ï¼ Must be able to write RFIs, change orders and proposals
ï¼ Ability to negotiate, develop and effectively relay job information to field foreman required
ï¼ Perform job walks as needed to ensure that field conditions are taken into account that may impact the prospective bid, construction, and/or may impact pre-construction designs and build services
ï¼ Computer skills: knowledge of word and excel required
ï¼ Hold a valid California Drivers License, pass a background check and agree to pre-hire Drug test.
ï¼ Must be a legal US Citizen or be authorized to legally work in the US
