I am searching for a kind and honest respite worker and a caregiver for my 10-year old autistic son. This would be a part-time position at $24 per hour and about 50 hours per month with a flexible schedule. Schedule would mostly consist of evenings and weekends. This job would be most fitting for a nursing student, a special needs school aide, a special needs teacher, or an ABA worker with experience in any of the listed areas. The applicant must be physically able to accompany and to monitor the safety of the child during play activities such as going to the trampoline park, going to the playground, visiting a friend's house etc. We live in Corona and we do most of our activities in Corona as well. We have 4 friendly animals - 2 small dogs and 2 house cats. We only speak English and our son has a very limited ability to talk. He uses the AAC device, so some knowledge of AAC would be very helpful. If you are selected, you will be asked to provide a fingerprint and a background check.
