Safety Monitor:City: Riverside CA/Moreno Valley CA Description:Reporting into the Sr. Manager of EHS, the Safety Monitor’s primary responsibility is to ensure compliance of the Company’s COVID Prevention Program at the fulfillment center (FC) located in Riverside, CA. The Safety Monitor will also be involved in ensuring the overall health and safety of individuals on site by assisting in safety audits, inspections and other EHS related tasks especially focused on the Company’s Social Distance Policy. Key Responsibilities:Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. Other duties, assignments and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of management. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Walk the site to ensure social distancing is maintained in the designated areas of the building/property in a professional and respectful manner. Ensure all individuals on site are following all current COVID-19 policies and procedures and escalate issues or concerns to management.Ensure all individuals are wearing face coverings properly.Conduct routine inspections to ensure COVID protocols and procedures are in place and being followed.Assist the EHS Manager in the assessment of safety hazards and risks and following mitigation activities.Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations, always maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.Make recommendations to management on any improvements to site COVID Prevention Plan.Must be willing to engage and coach individuals on COVID-19 protocols, policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Highschool diploma/GED or equivalent.1+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral.Bilingual - English & Spanish written and oral preferred.Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information.Ability to uphold rules and regulations.Patience and de-escalation skills to diffuse difficult situations.Applicants interested in this position must be able to wear a face covering for the duration of their shift.Physical RequirementsPhysical requirements here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Occasionally required to bend, stoop crouch, climb reach using hands and arms and some lifting up to 25lbs.Specific vision abilities required would be close & distant vision, color visions and the ability to adjust focus.Be able walk, sit, continuously stand and observe for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)Use of PPE such as gloves, safety glasses and masks as needed.Hours are as follows:Nights Sunday to Thursday (6:30pm-3am) $18.00/hrNights Thursday to Monday (6:30pm-3am) $18.00/hrDays Thursday to Monday (6:30am-3pm) $17.00/hrVolt is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Please send your resume
