Position: Sit Down Forklift Operator
City: Rialto, CA
Range of Pay: $17.75-$19.75
Shift:
1st shift M-F 3am-11:30am + OT
2nd shift M-F 11:00am-7:30PM + OT
3rd shift M-F 4:00pm-12:30pm + OT
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Summary:
The Sit-Down Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move product and other materials within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Operates the sit-down forklifts to move, stack, and stage product.
Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure safe operations.
Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring that the correct quantity and quality of product is loaded and ready for transport.
Maintain accurate records of product movement and inventory within the warehouse management system (WMS).
Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including the proper handling of products and materials.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience operating the Sit-Down forklifts in a Manufacturing facility, warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding role.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
