Custom Home Builder in Palm Desert is looking for an Office Administrator/Assistant to Project Manager/Superintendent

Requirements:

You must be extremely organized, neat, and flexible

You must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; proficiency in Excel is mandatory.

You must have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter with a friendly attitude.

You must be prompt to work and in completing all tasks.

You must be able to type 70+ words per minute.

You must work well with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

You must have the ability to work well as part of a team.

You must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

Pluses would include having experience with residential building projects, including:

Preparing and maintaining contract and sub-contractor files.

Dealing with subcontractors from various trades.

Understanding the time constraints of construction.

Understanding and assisting with the needs of the project superintendent and his team, including the customer service representative and interior designer.

Your job will include:

Making customer service calls and creating and maintaining punch lists.

Assisting superintendent with setting appointments, meeting with subcontractors, and scheduling

subcontractors and customer service activities.

Maintaining office files.

This is a full-time position.

Pay rate to be determined based on experience.
