Responsibilities:

Deals directly with customers both in person and on the phone to answer questions and rent equipment.

Handles all equipment rental details, such as quotes, reservations, rental and freight rates.

Assist the customer in determining their rental needs based on the job they must complete, suggests complementary rental items as appropriate.

Dispatches delivery drivers and rental equipment

Functions as an administrator for all aspects of the rental counter. Maintains the rental counter in a neat and organized fashion.

Maintains inventory control by updating rental transactions as they occur and running closing reports on a daily basis.

Become aware of all store operations and be able to fill in to monitor and direct whenever needed.

Adopt and maintain the company's values and mission and become instrumental in influencing others to do the same.

Must ensure that all Company policies, procedures and best practices are known and followed.

Maintain quality control standards at all times.

Assist in implementing existing company safety program.

Good driving record, limited driving of company vehicles, must be insurable.

Skills:

Exceptional customer service, communications and interpersonal skills.

Great phone etiquette, must be able to interface with all different types and levels of customers, employees and vendors.

Self-starter with a professional attitude capable of making good business decisions.

Familiarity and confidence with computers.

Attention to detail is mandatory to coordinate all phases of the rental process.

Able to multi-task while providing excellent customer service under rapidly changing priorities.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or higher. A "GED" is NOT acceptable.

Character Qualities and Personal Values:
