Environmental laboratory in Grand Terrace, CA has an opening for an entry level laboratory technician in our inorganic water and waste water division.
Duties include:
MBAS analysis utilizing manual extraction and colorimeter techniques.
Oil & Grease / TPH analysis utilizing manual extraction and gravimetric techniques.
Ortho / Total Phosphate analysis utilizing manual colorimeter techniques.
Preparation of standards and solutions.
Entry of analytical results into Laboratory Information Management System.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.
Classroom experience in instrumental or wet chemistry analysis.
Attention to details, ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Approximate shift hours are Monday thru Friday 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.
Occasional week end/holiday hours may be required.
