Job Duties:
1. Works with end users to identify and delivery require PC service levels within deadlines, while maintaining accuracy and data integrity.
2. Responds to End User Help Desk requests issued over e-mail and phone in a courteous and helpful manner. 3. Gathers system and departmental documentation for all pertinent end user identification information which includes; name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue.
4. Records, tracks and documents help desks requests and the problem solving process form the response of the ticket through final resolution which includes decisions and actions made whether successful/unsuccessful. 5. Installs, configures, tests, maintains, monitors and troubleshoots end user workstation software and networking software products.
6. Utilizes the Internet to access software updates, drivers, knowledge basis and other resources in order to aid in problem resolution.
7. Installs and maintains anti-virus and anti-spyware software.
8. Provides training and support to end users and staff on computer operation and other issues.
9. Performs user setup procedures of new employees and current employees that need additional applications utilizing proper security measures for access and appropriate installation policies and procedures.
10. Performs on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of PC problems for a variety of end users, recommends and implements corrective action.
11. Performs hands-on fixes at the desktop level with includes installing and upgrading software, hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
12. Performs preventive maintenance which includes the checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals. 13. Provides support for phone systems and docking stations and ensures that all tasks and requests are logged
using appropriate documentation.
14. Ensures network connectivity of all computers through familiarity with TCP/IP network concepts.
15. Administers and maintains end user accounts, permissions, and access rights through familiarity with windows domain technologies and group policy.
16. Works with End Users to identify and deliver Service Levels Agreements.
17. Maintain the HelpDesk ticket queue and ensure timely delivery of expected results.
18. Level I and II support for customer needs, including clear communication end-to-end. 19. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
20. Integration of data storage solutions,
including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
21. Integration of user-facing elements developed by
front-end developers with server side logic.
22. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems, tracking them within our ticketing system.
23. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
24. Assist with reliability of our infrastructure that supports Stack
Job Requirements:
Job requires bachelor's degree or its equivalent (foreign educational equivalent acceptable) in computer science plus minimum 18 months progressive experience as a software developer. Must possess at least 18 months experience in performing the following:
Experience in system administration and maintains end user accounts, permissions, and access control through familiarity with domain technologies and group policy.
Performs user setup procedures that need additional proper security measures for access and appropriate installation policies. Ensures network connectivity of all computers
