Notebooks for Students (a CA nonprofit Corporation) is looking to hire an individual to fill a Senior Technician / Assistant Manager position. NFS is a national seller of laptops to schools, families and students. We are a retail partner for Dell, HP, Lenovo, and have customers in all 50 states.
Technical responsibilities include:
Preparing laptops for order fulfillment
Providing remote support to our customers
Repairing laptops at the NFS facility
Management responsibilities include:
Monitoring and reporting Service Department metrics
Managing part-time technical staff
Parts ordering
wholesale returns
Compensation includes:
Full Time, Starting at $18.00 / Hour
Seven paid holidays or personal days a year
$100 per month contribution towards medical insurance
401K savings plan with corporate contribution
Year-end 401K profit sharing bonus
Requires two years’ experience within a computer service environment with knowledge of laptop hardware analysis/replacement and software/OS installation.
