Grading Contractor with 30 years in business - seeking: Working Foreman with Earthwork/Grading, and Construction Supervision Experience.
General Responsibilities: Manage the utilization of equipment and personnel on grading projects to meet performance objectives for completion. Identify and address any problems affecting operation and provide detailed communication with project manager(s) regarding project status. Work with the Project Manager(s) to implement strategies and maximize job profitability.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
2 years of construction supervision experience in grading and excavation.
Must be able to read drawings, plans, and blueprints.
Proficient in use of grade checking tools, including GPS and Laser.
Ability to maintain a safe and professional work environment at all times.
Ability to communicate with others efficiently and effectively at varying technical levels.
Coordinate and delegate daily tasks according to priorities and plans.
Ability to work independently, with the ability to make complex, immediate and informed decisions, adjusting as necessary due to weather, supply delivery, and personnel.
Ability to complete necessary documentation in a clear and concise manner.
Applicants MUST have: previous experience in supervising, grading, excavation or paving, with valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Project Locations Vary within Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego Counties.
