Drivers, Taxi Class C

California, Inland empire 00000 Inland empire USA

Vacancy expired!

Class C Drivers 23 years old and up, for Hemet San Jacinto area

If you like people and driving, this is for you. Disabled who can drive welcome.

This is not a job, its a business opportunity.

You' ll make about $350 a day taking people where they want to go. They pay you directly.

At the end of the day, you clean the car up, gas it up and pay us the rental fee for that day, usually $125.

So your daily average take home money is approximately $200 or more a day.

Some drivers increase what the make every day, by doing "Gig jobs" using our cabs, like "DoorDash, UberEats" or perhaps their own "handyman" (gardening, painting etc) business but use our cabs to get around.

This is a great way to get your own business "off the ground" while using our Cabs to insure you make a daily income, without wearing out your own car.

No money upfront required, therefore no risk.

Some drivers have been here over 10 years, so it can't be too bad.

Full and Part Time available.

If you are a "people person" with a clean driving record, this could be the full or part time job for you.

We provide you with a safe and reliable car and state-of-the-art dispatch service - you provide a smile and great customer service. It's that simple.

What you need to know:

Zero investment: we provide you with a safe, reliable car and dispatch center support if you want it.

Earn cash daily.

Flexible schedule: full and part-time positions available, choose from a wide range of shifts.

Easy money.

Need a part time job? This could be a great second job for you.

If you like driving and conversing with people, this is the business opportunity for you.

You are your own boss, in your own taxi business using rented taxi cabs. You do your own taxes. We do not report your income to anyone as we don't know what it is. You keep your own records regarding your income as you are an independent contract driver, not an employee of Yellow Cab.

All Independent Contractor Drivers must be:

At least 23 years old and have a Class "C" Driver's License.

No DUI's last 7 years.

No felonies (Must pass police back round check)

No Chemical heads, must Pass frequent and random drug tests.

Bring a Department of Motor Vehicles printout of your driving record.

For convenience you can pay our Insurance $10, but they won't give you copy of your DMV report, you'll only spare yourself the long lines at the DMV.

We are located in a small white house with a white fence:

147 South Juanita Street, Hemet, Ca 92543

Don't look for a big corporate office, we are in a little white house with white fence directly across the street from the Verizon building. There are no signs identifying it as Yellow Cab, so look for "147" on the door frame and knock. Someone is always there.

"In 2017, Reuters published that Uber passengers pay only 41% of the actual cost of their trips, citing research from transportation consultant Hubert Horan."

Drivers pay most of cost, leveraging their cars. That is clear. The IRS allows $.58 cents a mile deduction for commercial driving. Uber drivers often make only $.75 cents a mile. Therefore, Uber/Lyft drivers make $.17 cents a mile ONLY if paid mileage were 100%.

Its impossible to achieve 100% paid mileage as customers are not in the car 100% of the time. Drivers don't get paid traveling to pick them up, or after they are dropped off. 50% paid mileage is the normTherefore, Uber/Lyft drivers pay most of the cost of the ride because they spend $1.16 cents for every $.75 cents made.

When your car becomes a high mileage junker, that's when this reality hits home.

Our drivers don't pay for insurance, maintenance or replacement costs, or wear out their personal cars.

Check these videos out:

"The vast majority of Uber and Lyft drivers are earning less than minimum wage and almost a third of them are actually losing money by driving, according to researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

A working paper by Stephen M. Zoepf, Stella Chen, Paa Adu and Gonzalo Pozo at MIT's Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research says the median pretax profit earned from driving is $3.37 per hour after taking expenses into accountThirty percent of drivers "are actually losing money once vehicle expenses are included," the authors found."-March 2, 2018
