Title: Senior Payroll Associate Pay Rate: $37/hr Location: Irvine CA Contract: 4 months minimum

Must Have:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business or related field. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation. 7+ years of progressive experience in payroll for multi-entity/state company for 5000+ employees.

Job Description:
  • Responsible for the full-cycle payroll production for Canada UK, India, Germany and other countries; to include data entry, validation, reconciliation, and auditing using ADP Streamline, and Workday systems.
  • Ensures payroll processing and reporting complies with all in-country and provincial laws, and all corporate policies and procedures
  • Reviews, analyzes reconciles and validates tax reporting data.
  • Enters, validates, and processes employee time off records. Monitors and validates accrual records
  • Ensures compliance with Court and withholding orders and coordinates payments.
  • Promptly responds to Wonderdesk inquiries from employees; troubleshoots and resolves all employee and system pay issues.
  • Processes authorized data changes timely and accurately with required supporting documentation. Maintains data integrity between Workday and ADP payroll systems.
  • Maintains accurate and current electronic files.
  • Assists employees with ADP portal registration.
  • Provides assistance with the US payrolls as needed, special projects, audits, and data requests as assigned.

Job Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of state and federal employment laws and taxing requirements.
  • Evidence of strong principles and practices in Payroll taxes.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize work and accurately complete multiple tasks under minimal supervision and rigid time constraints.
  • Be thorough and accurate with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify, clarify, resolve and follow through to completion.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills coupled with strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to respond to changing demands, priorities, procedures, and technology.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner and manage multiple tasks and assignments.
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office; strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Exceptional ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality.
