One of America's leading streaming services company is expanding their Data Engineering efforts on all aspects. One of their main needs is a Senior Data Engineer to join as the first of this team and help build out a roadmap. The opportunity is a fully remote contract to hire! The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience minimally. Strong technology skills with the following: Python or Node, Kibana for Data Modeling, Redshift, Spark, Kinesis and AWS. - 3+ years of professional experience
- Python or Node
- AWS (EKS Clusters)
- Kibana experience for Data Modeling
- Redshift
- Spark
- Interest or exposure in Kafka
- Background in Math or Statistics
- Docker or Kubernetes
- 90% Data Engineering
- 10% Data Analysis
- 80% Hands On
