Job ID: 21-05238Job Title: Senior Consultant, Microsoft 365 Location: RemoteType: Direct-Hire Senior Consultant - Microsoft 365 TechnologiesThe Consultant role is responsible for assessment, planning, design, testing, and technical documentation for the implementation, support, and migration of Office 365 components including the following:
- Exchange Online
- Teams
- Intune
- OneDrive
- SharePoint Online
- Security and Compliance controls
- Understand and assess existing client environment
- Perform client facing interview to gather client s business and technical requirements
- Design and plan large scale migrations to O365
- Familiarity with migration tools such as Bit Titan, Binary Tree and Quest tools.
- Document existing and future state architecture with functional requirements and specifications
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Visio and Project
- Research new technology and develop roadmaps
- Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects
- Solve complex problems with many variables
- Design and Plan Migrations to Azure IaaS as well as execution on those migrations
- Understanding of on-prem technologies such as Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, ADFS and System Center Configuration Manager (Endpoint Configuration Manager)
- Ability to self-manage time and work effort in remote work scenarios
- Minimum of 7+ years designing and implementing solutions around several of the technologies listed below.
- Office 365 planning and migration including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive
- MS Enterprise Mobility Suite design, support, implementation; 3rd party MDM experience a plus
- Azure design, development, networking, integration
- Large scale (5000+ mailbox) Exchange design/migration
- Migrating 3rd party email solutions (Notes, GroupWise, Google, etc) to Exchange Online
- Active Directory engineering, support, migration
- Windows 10 image design, deployment
- SCCM, MDT, OS/Application deployment toolset engineering
- Strong networking skills, including WAN/VPN
- Strong PowerShell experience, and ability to understand other scripting languages
- Express difficult and complex concepts clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
- Write clear, logical reports, and instructions
- Work effectively and cooperatively with administrators, staff, users, project consultants and vendors
- Meet established priorities and schedules
- Microsoft Certification in relevant areas preferred but not required.
