- Manage and run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health.
- Improve reliability, quality, performance, and availability by implementing industry best practices to underlying platform technology.
- Measure and optimize system performance and create remediation plans to mitigate any production impacting performance issue.
- Review and implement deployment processes and technology to improve overall deployment process quality and timing.
- Implement industry best practice and technology to reduce incidents response time, and incident time resolution time.
- Continuous measurement of the technology stack including recommendations for future road maps.
- Ensures back-up/DR replications are properly processed as scheduled and maintain restoration test cycles to ensure proper back-up and replication are available and working as expected.
- 10+ years of Windows/Linux OS family Administration
- Strong background with AWS Sys Ops Experience; managing cloud AWS compute and data services environments for a SaaS multi-tenant environment
- Kubernetes Experience; engineering, testing, and deploying Kubernetes scripts
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related filed from an accredited institution, or equivalent relevant experience required
- Strong experience automating CI/CD deployments using Chef/Ansible/PowerShell
- Strong experience with VMware administration, including design and build of virtualized dev/stage/prod environments, A/B environments, and virtual on-prem to virtual cloud migrations
