This medical benefit administrative company is looking to bring on a new Senior Network Engineer. This role will be responsible for the implementation and administration of network security hardware and software, enforcing the network security policy and complying with requirements of external security audits and recommendations. Successful candidates will have a strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance-related considerations and technologies for implementation and experience in configuring and managing site-2-site VPN tunnels and firewall policies. - Experience with Network infrastructure design, including VOIP
- Experience with Cisco firewalls, routers and switch configurations
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field from a regionally accredited institution
- CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP, CCIE) certification or equivalent job experience.
- Configuration and troubleshooting Cisco Catalyst 9300 series router and switches.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANS, SNMP and routing protocols (EIGRP)
- Experience in configuring and managing site-2-site VPN tunnels and firewall policies
- Experience in remote access technologies (VPN, terminal services, etc.)
- Knowledgeable about DNS and DHCP network services
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance-related considerations and technologies for implementation
- Experience with Wireshark or equivalent tool
