An established health tech giant in Irvine, California is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team. The client runs a patient- focused health tech platform that provides a smarter way for hospitals, health systems and medical groups to manage their billing operations. This team member would be responsible for developing the integration engine required for a smooth integration with electronic health record data. This role is perfect for the engineer who has a passion for system and application design. Required Skills & Experience
- Senior Backend Engineer (4+ years) who needs to be very strong with Python and Java
- Will be building custom ETL pipelines - need to have experience working in a data-intensive environment
- Experience with SpringBoot Microservices
- Experience with AWS
- Develop our custom in-house ETL framework
- Tackle complex scalability challenges including optimizing database queries, writing ultra-efficient Java and Python code, and working with distributed, asynchronous tasks
- Work closely with our integration team members to optimize future client integrations
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
- Backend Development/Data Engineering.
