- Provide technical leadership in designing and implementing complex deployments for on-premise as well as cloud (PaaS, IaaS and SaaS) solutions
- Create, review and provide deep technical analysis of network and cloud designs for areas such as: security, cloud infrastructure, data protection, resilience, scalability
- Create and deliver solutions that maintain, deploy, upgrade and troubleshoot network and security infrastructure solutions, such as, on-prem network connectivity, firewalls, load balancers, client VPN, intrusion prevention and detection systems
- Lead teams with architecture, cloud and distributed systems expertise that integrate with client team members (architects, other tech leads and systems engineers) to ensure development activities are aligned with scope, schedule, priorities and business objectives
- Ensure that design and development is in compliance with architectural and development standards
- Monitor and report on progress in completing projects and deliverables
- Create methods and frameworks to support sales of our professional services
- Support pre and post sales meetings and presentations with our clients
- Establish the workload and supervise each team to consistently deliver against established schedules
- Mentor and motivate team members to provide outstanding support and continuously improve processes
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and evaluate applicability of new software technologies to platform development efforts
- Proactively address potential system issues to meet or exceed established timelines and deliver within budget constraints
- 5 or more years' experience in cyber security architecture with 3+ years focused on cloud security
- The ideal candidate will have a general foundation of AWS, Azure and Google technology stacks and security offerings, and in-depth knowledge and experience in 1 of the 3 technologies
- Strong ability to analyze business requirements and transform into technical designs and system solutions
- Able to synthesize complex data/information, and lead complex technical implementations on plan
- Ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts
- Hands-on experience with designing and executing technical solutions from requirements analysis to design and development to testing and implementation
- Able to effectively communicate status, design and approach with management/business sponsors/product managers
- Demonstrated experience working with vendor partners
- Self-directed, works with limited management direction and exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment
- Extensive experience with protecting and monitoring cloud, hybrid cloud and SaaS technologies
- Extensive experience in AWS
- Hands on experience in Azure and GCP
- Experience with securing Microsoft Office 365
