A growing software company located in Irvine is looking for a Java contractor. They heavily work on cloud technologies so you'll work on Java, AWS, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Rest API and any DevOps experience with Ansible or Terraform will be a plus. You'll work on a team of 25 people and that'll be a mixture of DevOps, Engineers, Product Managers, Project Managers, etc. and work on their B2B SAAS application that is consumer facing and it services the entire country. They're also looking to expand abroad. You'll work on 10% front end development, 90% backend development. This role will be 100% remote for now and even after Covid as they only need someone to come to the office from time to time. This is a great company to get into! Required Skills & Experience
- At least 5+ years of professional experience in Java
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices
- If you've worked on software applications that are highly scalable, that's a plus
- Someone who is smart, has a good attitude, a team player
- Ideally someone who has a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Math or Physics
