- Provide operational support and guidance to internal clients.
- Responsible for performing a wide variety of daily storage management tasks as well as providing recommendations for effective and efficient management of storage system.
- Be part of a team working specifically on the clients Storage/SAN/NAS and Backup Systems.
- Provide proactive recommendations to the customers for improving storage & Backup operations.
- Responsible for performing daily operational tasks like storage provisioning and maintaining availability.
- Provision storage based on standardized procedures as outlined in internal documents.
- Perform backup and recovery procedures
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of experience in Storage Engineering
- Knowledge of Windows & SUN UNIX systems, & usage of connectivity with HBA devices
- Excellent Analytical Skills
- Superior problem-solving skills
- Good documentation skills
- Willing to assist users with their tasks when needed
- Netapp Certified Data Administration (NCDA) - Preferred
- EMC Certified Proven Professional or Certified Information Storage Associate (EMCISA) - Preferred
