Analytics Report Migration Consultant with experience in the Telecom Industry. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity (with long-term potential) and is located in Irvine-CA. Our client is a leading Telecom company.Please review the job description below:Top Skills:SQLAdobe AnalyticsThought Spot Tableau Key Responsibilities:- In this role, you will be responsible for migrating reporting from the legacy to new environment in both Adobe Analytics, Thought Spot, and EDW. This work will include:\
- Evaluating existing reports and understanding definitions of variables, segments, filters, code, and outputs
- Determining how to achieve parity or near-parity between the old and new reporting environments with respect to metric values, trends, and year over year comparisons.
- Partner with business and reporting teams to confirm needed metrics and conduct analysis to evaluate the trade-offs of different approaches to supporting those requirements.
- Migrating reports to the new reporting environment, including full ground-up report rebuilds.
- Validating data volumes, values, and trends between legacy and omni data sources, and creating documentation to confirm parity or explain gaps.
- Provides guidance/rationales to reporting teams on any changes made
- Review outputs with reporting and business teams to confirm that new reporting meets expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business -Analytics, a related field or four or more years work experience.
- Two or more years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to communicate with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Understanding of tagging implementation on websites and apps.
- Experience developing reporting, KPIs, metrics, and attributes.
- Experience developing reporting with each of the following tools/languages:
- SQL
- Adobe Analytics
- ThoughtSpot pinboard creation
- Tableau
- Analysts international Corporation (Staff Augmentation Services)
- The Ascent Services Group Inc. (Life Sciences Talent Solutions)
- HireGenics, (Payrolling, IC Compliance, & MSP Services)
- DATA Inc. (Information Technology- staffing)
