We are partnering with a leading Biotechnology company in Irvine, CA hiring an Application Support Specialist to
start immediately for a 100% on site direct hire position.KEY INFORMATION:- We are looking for someone who is specialized with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure and PowerShell scripting
- Will be responsible for a migration project: migrating SharePoint from Classic to Modernization (this project is half way done, and needs this person to finish the project)
- API Background will be a plus for setting up a centralized hub
- You will be responsible for 50% end user and 50% project work
- Really need someone who is able to take the initiative and make recommendations on future improvement
- Need someone with at least 3 years of professional experience with MS Office 365 administration experience with Exchange, Security & Compliance, SharePoint, MS Teams, etc.)
- Provide Level 2 Application Support through escalated incident tickets from the Service Desk.
- Performs Active Directory administration (GPO, DNS), add/remove users, reset passwords, manage group policy.
- Provide end-user support including software installation, PC troubleshooting, hardware diagnoses, configuration, and training.
- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions within the ticketing system (currently using Zendesk and will be migrating to Manage Engine)
