A large, global, medical device company in Irvine has an opportunity for an Engineer l.

Start and End Dates: 08/01/2022-02/28/2023 No ConversionLocation: Irvine, CA, 100% OnsiteSchedule/Hours: Mon - Fri 8-5

Duties
  • Assist in Test Tool framework development and write automation scripts to test requirements using Python and Page Object Model design
  • Review Software Design and Requirements Specifications to provide input and feedback to cross-functional teams
  • Reporting and Communication of Software Defects in formal and Ad-hoc tests
  • Maintaining a suite of regression tests to ensure software functionality for each release of the software
  • Communicating with cross functional teams to proactively identify problems and gaps in test coverage and documentation
  • Developing clear and concise test reports
  • Maintaining automated test infrastructure

Top Requirements:
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • 1+ Experience developing automation tests using Page Object Model using Python
  • Experience with QT applications and controls

Other Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Serial Communications Interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.)
  • 1+ Years of Programming language experience with C/C is a plus
  • Ability to understand, test, and troubleshoot complicated system interactions
  • Ability to develop test guidelines from specifications
  • Experience working in a safety-critical medical and/or regulated environment is a plus

Education/Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific field Required
