job summary:

Our client is in need of a Field Technician who will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of telephone and data/ network lines and equipment throughout their campus. Other responsibilities will include network activation/termination, re-cabling existing cables, light cable pulling, AP installation, doing site evals and wireless surveys using a tablet or laptop, rack and stacking of network switches, and other field tech duties as assigned.

responsibilities:

  • This position responsibilities include the installation, maintenance and repair of telephone and data/network lines and equipment throughout the campus.
  • This includes some basic installation, upgrade and repair activities inside the telephone switching system and network system.
  • Jobs the person will be expected to be doing is network activation/termination, re-cabling existing cables, light cable pulling, AP installation, doing site evals and wireless surveys using a tablet or laptop, rack and stacking of network switches, and other field tech duties as assigned.
