Job Description
- Understand the policy terms, analyze the factors to trigger coverage, and predict claims
- Receive, contact, track, investigate, and adjust the claims and maintain records/documentation
- Evaluate the cause of loss, damages, liabilities and estimate the claims
- Apply sound judgment and risk management philosophy
- Implement risk inspections, follow up with recommendations, and establish audit trails
- Track the claims process and analyze claims & loss trends to improve underwriting results
- Analyze the claims characteristics by peril/coverage and loss trends, and recommend actionable improvement plan of claims handling & adjusting
- Mind regulatory oversight and conduct underwriting & claims audit
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) or above
- Experience: Property & Casualty Insurance – Underwriting and/or Claims
- Attributes: Strong work ethics - Honesty, Diligence, Responsibilities, Teamwork
- Language: Bi-Lingual (English and Korean) – Native or Proficient
- Computer Skills: MS Office, Any prior experience in Insurer’s policy and/or claims system
- Other Skills: Speaking & Writing, Organizing & Analytical, Change management & Self-Motivating
