An exciting new opportunity for a Manager of Hospital Infection Control is now available at a top short-term acute care hospital in sunny Southern California! RN licensure is not required for this position.
Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, the Nurse Manager Infection Prevention will be mostly autonomous and will often work independently without supervision. The Manager of Hospital Infection Control will oversee a dedicated team of 3 Infection Preventionists, lead the Infection Prevention Committee, and oversee policy and procedures, surveillance, and staff education.
The Manager of Hospital Infection Control will provide quality nursing care and health education for the hospital’s dedicated employees and volunteers. The Manager of Hospital Infection Control will be also accountable for preventing Healthcare-Associated Infections, maximizing patient and employee safety, and adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards related to Infection Control. The ideal candidate for this exciting new position has demonstrated experience with Infection Control and achieving positive outcomes.
