Do it here.What you’ll be doingThe purpose of the Verizon Connect Revenue Operations organization is to maximize profitability while creating great customer and employee experiences by implementing industry leading tools and processes in novel ways. The team is divided into four distinct functions: Systems Architecture, Portfolio Management, Systems Program Management, and Global Standardization.You will be responsible for representing Sales and Sales Operations on any and all strategic initiatives within Verizon Connect. As Principal Product Owner, you design solutions for Sales, partner with GTS and ePMO, and serve as the Agile Product Owner. You will also responsible for partnering with a dedicated set of Sales and Sales Operations leadership to ensure that their specific requirements are well documented and prioritized with GTS [Business Relationship Management]. Sales and Marketing often adapt their strategies to respond to macro industry changes. These changes must be quickly reflected in systems to maintain their relevance and effectiveness. In these cases, the Principal Product Owner is responsible for ensuring consultation with business leadership to understand any needed modifications to the established plan.Own up to six (6) programs end-to-end from discovery, to project charter, to prioritization, feature identification, user story creation, test script writing, and organization of testing.

Partner with ePMO to ensure on time delivery and appropriate stakeholder engagement.

Act as a consultant to Sales and Sales Operations leadership around process improvements within CRM and ERP.

Ensure that all Sales and Sales Operations action items that originate from external portfolios are accounted for and meet their respective timelines. All projects, programs, and enhancements should have organized executive summaries to empower leadership to make informed decisions.

Ensuring that the Verizon Connect implemented processes are compliant within all of the geographies where they’re implemented.

Work regularly with the larger Verizon Business Group to bridge gaps between respective sales strategies.

What we’re looking forYou’ll need to have:Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Prior experience effectively and collaboratively communicating with Director-level and above leadership.

Two or more years of Program management experience.

Two or more years of experience with the Agile framework.

Knowledge of Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, & Slides).

Overall understanding of SaaS business processes and experience implementing solutions for gaps from a technical and/or project management perspective.

Prior experience working autonomously and confidently making large decisions that significantly impact the business.

Proven experience as a strategic thinker who sees the full potential and interaction risks between systems.

Strong technical experience with CRM, ERP, CPQ, and CLM systems.

Prior experience with Salesforce as a user.

Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:Excellent rapport building skills and a track record of success working collaboratively with other members of the business such as Sales Directors, Associate Directors, and the VP of Global Sales, as well as cross functional teams which may include Marketing, Strategy, Legal, Finance, IT, Business Intelligence, and Sales Compensation leadership.

Prior Salesforce admin experience.

Track record of success being inquisitive and constantly wondering how we can make the sales cycle faster, more effective, and/or easier to complete.

Subject matter expert in a large variety of additional software applications as well as the business acumen required to apply them to business problems.
