The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the overall configuration of the Salesforce solution for the company. They will work with internal partners for its configuration, and oversee the administration and maintenance of objects, fields, and automation. They will enable continuous improvements of the Salesforce tool, identify new functionality and drive automation to increase efficiency in business processes. We are searching for an experienced Senior Salesforce Administrator to join our Irvine team and drive the full-lifecycle development of this critical product.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain custom apps and objects, fields, workflows (process builder and Flows), custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
  • Manage Salesforce roles, profiles and users
  • Perform database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing (prior experience with DemandTools is a plus)
  • Document processes, and automation for shared resources
  • Experience designing/building custom and/or dynamic Salesforce.com dashboards
  • Work with end users to provide day to day support working with the platform
  • Understand sales and operations processes across the different divisions of the organization and identify key areas to increase efficiency through automation
  • Increase efficiencies through effective management of Salesforce capabilities, capacity and storage
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator with proven experience maintaining and customizing the Salesforce platform and end-user support
  • Experience with implementation of standard and custom objects, flows, custom metadata, and custom settings and a strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Keen attention to detail and complex problem-solving abilities from an operational and technical perspective
  • Ability to work independently and be strongly self-motivated and engage supervisor as needed
  • Must be creative, innovative and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to abstract detail into larger patterns, have familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques
  • Ability to coordinate with team members, partners and vendors, other IT managers and developers in providing solution suggestions and constructive feedback.
  • Ability to interact with technical and functional staff at all levels
  • Experience with third-party tools and managed packages (e.g. Data Loader, Pardot, etc.)
  • Experience in end-to-end administration and implementation cycle of Salesforce across all phases, preferably in a complex, dynamic environment
  • Excellent project management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder Certification
  • Experience with Einstein Analytics and AI desired
  • Expertise with Pardot
  • Able to read Apex and SOQL (no writing of code is required, familiarity/ability to read only)
  • Expertise with Source Control, such as Git
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
