As a LoopNet marketplace Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building applications that are using by millions of CRE users and professionals to market over a trillion of dollars of CRE properties on the marketplace platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies and provide recommendations to the leadership team
  • Design, develop and support high traffic, real-time enterprise applications
  • Collaborate with all business partners to design and define our class-leading products
  • Implement product features and refine specifications
  • Continuously improve working processes, code quality, and tool and technology adoption
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to other team members when needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of software and application design and architecture
  • 5+ years of database design and performance tuning experience
  • 5+ years of software development and coding in C#, .NET
  • 3+ years of production development with Javascript and modern Javascript Frameworks such as React.JS, Node.JS, Angular.JS or comparable
  • 2+ years' experience with Microservices
  • Experience with testing frameworks
  • Expertise with software development best practices, including standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Years of experience designing and implementing high traffic software applications
  • Hands-on development with .NET Core
  • Experience building front end frameworks using modern bundlers
  • Should be comfortable converting mocks into high-quality HTML/CSS
  • Experience with responsive web design, media queries, and delivering functionality that works with a range of client devices/browsers from desktops and laptops to mobile platforms.
  • Experience with UI design patterns, security, performance, and usability.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
  • Experience with application integration between multiple large-scale systems
  • Experience with Amazon EKS
  • Deep understanding of OO patterns and principles
  • Experience with Spring Boot, AngularJS, SocketIO, Elastic Search, MongoDB, Kafka is a plus
  • iOS mobile app development
  • Experience in Agile environment
