DescriptionWe have a Startup Company that has an immediate need for an Administrative Assistant. This firm handles interior design and planning for public and private markets. Previous experience working within Architectural field is preferred as is having used QuickBooks. We need someone with a strong background as this is a new company. If you have experience working with a start-up organization and enjoy handling all tasks that come your way, this position could be for you!Administrative Duties will include:
Writing/editing letters, correspondence, memos, etc.
Editing contracts
Answering phones
Handling incoming and outgoing mail and shipments
Assist with some HR tasks
Organizing our architectural licenses
Ordering materials
Contact for outside vendors for materials
Coordinating travel
Assist with some accounting tasks

Skills in internet research
Proficiency in Microsoft Word
Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of calendar managements and scheduling appointments
Navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience preferred
Candidate must have substantial computer experience including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
