We are seeking a Business Analyst to join a financial services leader in No-QM Wholesale and Correspondent lending programs. Our client offers a range of programs and services geared toward helping mortgage professionals and borrowers achieve their purchase and investment goals. This is a direct hire, hybrid capable role but candidates must be local to Orange County.
What You Will Do:- Analyze business requirements and design solutions that effectively meet/exceed business requirements
- Troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively
- Create/maintain effective system documentation
- Delivering small projects and assignments according to published schedule
- Monitor, collect and assemble data from multiple sources to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations and actionable analysis, and troubleshoot user issues/questions
- May collect and assemble data from multiple sources in order to promote better decisioning and improve processes
- Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions based on data
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while juggling multiple projects
- 2-4 years’ experience with loan origination and/or mortgage servicing systems; BytePro, Empower, MSP/Black Knight, Finastra Servicing Director, Visionet/Doc Velocity preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Excel; formulas, pivots, macros preferred
- Knowledge of SQL, Crystal Reports, and/or other database reporting tools is a plus
- Experience with MS Office tools to enable documentation, visualization, communication, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
