The Product Manager is the techno functional professional responsible for managing the direction and development of the organizations commercial and internal products. This includes software platforms, test kits, and compliance communications. The role is tasked with gathering feature requests, scheduling releases, coordinating development sprints and accepting the work generated by the team in order to ensure valuable and proper functionality of the products.

DUTIES:Create and manage requirements for new features, bug reports and change requestsDevelop scope and define backlog items (epic/features/user stories) that guide the Agile software development teamAsses the value of new feature updates to the product in terms of the relationship between impact, alignment and cost of development/implementationPrioritize stories, epics and features to ensure work focuses on those elements with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategyProvide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user storiesFacilitate team progress toward achieving defined goals and objectives set by executive leadershipWork closely with product management and senior management in order to create a product that fits the company portfolio and visionLead daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration retrospectiveContinually research new and emerging technologies to improve the product(s) and the company portfolio

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Thorough knowledge of the SDLC and industry standard best practicesDeep understanding of agile metrics (tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.) to analyze and improve sprint planning
