  • Directly oversees all daily activities of the Utility Department including supervision of all Utility Workers
  • Accounts for subordinate and personnel compliance with all Transdev's safety rules, policies and procedures
  • Monitor employee's performance of established procedures
  • Plans, organizes, and assigns daily work in Utility Department
  • Monitors performance of and efficiencies of the Utility Department
  • Hold daily tailgate meetings with Utility Workers
  • Perform Post Inspections on vehicles that have been detailed
  • Provide daily updates to Maintenance Manager and Client
  • Administer daily reports for the Utility Department
  • Responsible for maintaining the bus wash area and bus yard clean
  • Other duties as needed
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
Qualifications:

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a high school diploma (or GED equivalent) with some college preferred and at least three years prior experience in a Maintenance environment. Must be dependable and have reliable transportation to work.

Must be computer literate in word and excel and functional with the English language in both verbal and in written forms. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. Must be able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and communicate at all times with professionalism and courtesy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Maintenance theories, principles, practices, and techniques
  • Thorough knowledge of the organization's functions, methods of operation, staff and operational departments
  • Competency to express ideas effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other managers and employees
  • Capacity to plan and supervise the work of subordinates
