Supports Anthem’s strategic minority interest investment initiatives.Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Negotiates general commercial contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, contract amendments, purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent and term sheets.

Reviews and analyzes transaction documents and provides general legal advice related thereto.

Fields initial calls from and responds to requests for information from federal and state anti-trust regulatory authorities.

Assists in a variety of assigned projects by performing routine legal review.

Performs legal research and analysis on complex issues. Identifies legal solutions and recommendations to Legal Counsel.

At this level the focus is developing professional experience and acquiring knowledge about the business.

Qualifications:

Admission to bar required, 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Strongorganizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously required.

0-3 years experience with standard legal concepts and procedures.

Must be able to sit onsite in Indianapolis, IN
