Pay Range

$123,960 - $166,992 Annually for the SES.2 level

$148,650 - $200,328 Annually for the SES.3 level

Audio Video Project Coordinator, as a member of the Unified Communications Infrastructure (UCI) Installation Team. You will work with customers, team members, trades, and stakeholders to ensure all expectations are met and projects are completed successfully. Including, creating large scale installation schedules for deploying new audio video systems to help sustain LLNL's hybrid work collaborations locally and with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) complex. This position is in the Enterprise Infrastructure Services Division (EIS) within the LivIT Program in the Computing Directorate.

This position requires an on-site presence for most job duties.

In this role you will
  • Create large scale installation schedules, working cross-functionally between different stakeholders including construction trades, cybersecurity, etc. to ensure all pre-requisites and dependencies are met.
  • Negotiate complex sets of variables between system design, site conditions, and a widely varying set of expectations with multiple stakeholders.
  • Write statements of work, and work with customers early in the project design phase in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to meet deadlines and avoid delays.
  • Oversee projects and ensure that quick, thorough, and friendly service is provided to all stakeholders that are involved in the project.
  • Independently support and monitor tasks and resources associated with multiple competing projects.
  • Purchase materials and maintain inventory based on project requirements.
  • Track and assign AV team resources across multiple concurrent running jobs to ensure project are completed on schedule.
  • Serve as a point of contact to represent the installation team in related projects and milestones.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US DOE Q-level security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Telecommunications, Electronics or relevant technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of general project management technical skills and experience with project management systems for planning, organizing, performing, reviewing, and completing projects.
  • General experience and knowledge in the field of commercial construction.
  • Experience with A/V vendors, such as AMX, Extron, Cisco, ClearOne, etc.
  • Strong proficiencies with office software programs including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel programs.
  • Experience managing multiple parallel tasks, deadlines, and deliverables, including coordination with remote team members to obtain needed information.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills necessary to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

  • Extron AV Associate Certification
  • Completion of the OSHA 10-Hour Construction Course
