Job Description
Rate of Pay:$15.86
Shift: Tuesday- Saturday (Graveyard)
- Help maintain and improve quality and food safety, to insure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements·
- Fueling of tractors
- High pressure washing of fleet vehicles
- Steam cleaner operation
- Operate gas/electric forklift
- Drive, couple and uncouple tractor/trailer combinations
- Perform circle inspection of vehicles while at fuel island
- Proper documentation of fuels and lubricants dispensed
- Work safely and help maintain safe work environment
- Don proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Perform all other duties as requested by Supervisor / Foreperson
- Assist technicians as needed
Qualifications
- Must have good interpersonal skills
- Must have legible penmanship
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (which includes reading and writing)
- Must have a valid California driver’s license with acceptable DMV record, Class A license preferred
- Driving record must conform to company standards
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to operate gas/electric forklift and have FF Safety License
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to climb in and out of trucks continually during shift
- Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must possess mechanical aptitude regarding vehicles with some experience preferred
- Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends and overtime as needed
- Must be able to progress to higher tech level
- Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check
