Job Description
Rate of Pay: $31.70
Schedule: Sunday- Thursday (SwingShift)
- Engine and powertrain overhauls.
- Gas & diesel engines
- A/C Repair with 609 certification.
- Computer diagnostic abilities.
- Knowledge of Insite, Davie4, Diagnostic Link is helpful.
- Vehicle telematics.
- EDVIR as well as installation.
- Engine cooling systems.
- Vehicle Electrical Systems.
- Charging, starting & lighting.
- Air and hydraulic brake systems including ABS.
- Light welding and fabrication.
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic repairs and diagnosis.
- Knowledge of engine after-treatment and SCR systems.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical experience repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers.
- Must have proportionate number of tools to perform repairs.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must have legible penmanship and must be able to communicate in written and verbal English.
- Must be able to work overtime and holidays as needed.
- Ability to obtain and maintain PSIP Certification.
- Must be able to road-service calls.
- Class A License is a plus but is not required
