Leverages knowledge of Healthcare, Financial, Operational, Geospatial, and Meta Data to create requirements based on needs or requirements. Collaborates with BIA Management, Data Governance, and Data Stewards to determine best practices and uses for data. Collaborates with internal and external teams and stakeholders to ensure data is gathered, stored, and reported accurately to drive informed financial, clinical, and operational decision making. Collaborates with Visualization Developers, ETL Developers and Data Architects to create complex analytic solutions including but not limited to: dashboards, ad-hoc reports, alerts, extracts, or other data needs using SQL, Tableau, Webi, and PowerBI or other approved tools. Applies data analysis, data profiling, data matching, exception handling, and reporting with capabilities within the business intelligence environment. Translates business requirements into technical design requirements by working with the SMEs (subject Matter Experts), stakeholders, and back-end developers such as Visualization, ETL, and Data Architects. Coordinates with researchers and subject matter experts to evaluate needs, document possible solutions and potential costs. Works with application teams to help guide data gathering in upstream systems to best match data mining and reporting needs for executive and management consumers. Works with large and complex datasets to derive and validate models in clinical, operational and financial areas for large healthcare organizations. Advises data governance and BIA management on future data needs based on stakeholder demands. Provides support and acts as coordinator and facilitator when needed between Application team members, vendors and other members of BI Analytic teams; works collaboratively with others to deliver patient and customer-oriented services that meet or exceed patient and business expectations as evidenced by meeting SLAs and customer feedback. Collaborates with leadership and peers to develop and implement processes to promote an Integrated Delivery System, providing tools to assist clinicians in documenting care provided and providing a positive patient experience. Collaborates with the reporting coordinators to develop and deliver data solutions including the entire build life cycle for Epic-Crystal integrated Hyperspace reports. Provides support for processing and troubleshooting changes in the system. Participates in internal system release testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to facilitate effective and organized issue resolution.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in Data Analytics, Health Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field, plus two (2) years of IT, Health Information Management, Analytical, or related experience analyzing data in a healthcare-related setting; developing and delivering data solutions; working with large and complex datasets to derive and validate models in clinical, operational and financial areas for healthcare organizations; applying data analysis and data matching in a business intelligence environment; translating business requirements into technical design requirements; utilizing the following tools and technologies: Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, Webi.
