Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Quality Systems Specialist support the Ground-based Midcourse Defense Program in Vandenberg SFB, CA.Position Responsibilities:Leads multi-function, multi-site groups to develop company directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed.

Leads stakeholders in analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions.

Develops scope, schedule, plans and leads hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements, and reports results to management.

Works under minimal direction and makes tactical decisions.

Reviews and buys-off on material shipped or transferred from the site.

Understands and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles, and concepts to both production flight hardware and in maintenance operations.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location optionsThis position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Basic Qualifications Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and corrective action

1+ year of experience in Work Order and Non Conformance tracking systems experience (e.g. Manufacturing Enterprise Systems (MES), System Application Processes (SAP), etc.)

Experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications

Experience analyzing data and generating metrics reports

Experience with gathering data and performing Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA)

Experience in problem solving and improvement projects

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
