Title: Systems Administrator/Support
Location: Long Beach, CA Type: Contract to hire Job #: DR1121835325 Note: This job is not open to C2C or 3rd party candidates. The client has a team of 8 within their IT group and 2 people in this Systems Administrator/support role. Will be taking tickets and handle troubleshooting issues, maintenance of Virtual Desktop machines, and general network support. Looking for a 5+ years experience resource who can handle most hardware/software issues within a 300 user environment. Candidate will be going into the Long Beach office 2-3 days week and working from home the rest of the time. They also have 3 offshore oil rigs off the coast of Long Beach that they will visit once a week to do desktop/laptop maintenance, printer maintenance, etc They need to be comfortable in getting on a boat at 7am in the morning to go on an oil rig (which has an inside office they'll work in) and come back around 6pm. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. This is a 12 month Contract to hire and is our role to fill, just need to right canMust Haves:- Windows 10 expert
- Office 365
- Active Directory (setting up users, delete users)
- Good troubleshooting and able to self manage.
- Great Customer Service skills
- Able to take a ticket and understand what RDS session is for printing
Nice to Haves:- Prefer someone with a Bachelors or Associates degree
- CCNA
- VMWare
- Oil & Gas industry experience
