The responsibilities of the Help Desk include providing tier 1/2 support for all end user support needs including desktops, wireless and wired networking, printers, cloud based software solutions from Microsoft office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive Exchange, Slack, Okta, JAMF, Symantec, filecloud, etc. The Help Desk position also includes the responsibility of day to day administration of users and user access to software systems. - Working knowledge for the administration for Jira ServiceDesk, Microsoft office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive Exchange, Slack, Okta, JAMF, Symantec, filecloud
- Basic understanding of networking protocols, concepts and practices.
- Experience with security products and systems a plus
- Experience with desktops and laptops from Dell and Lenovo
- Desktop management through Microsoft Intune
- Deployment of endpoint protection solutions from Microsoft and Symantec
- Interest in scripting languages such as PowerShell, bash, python, Perl to help automate routine tasks
