Summary:

Linux, Mac, and Windows is the most important.

While Ubuntu is their preferred OS, any experience in Linux will be ok. They’d be OK with Red hat/centos skills

Key skills/experience:
  • Well Rounded IT Support Engineer – Level 1-2 support, including helpdesk support for company’s IT and operations staff
  • Onboarding/off-boarding for employees
  • Desktop support of Linux, MacOS and Windows desktop machines
  • Linux Ubuntu experience – desktop support side
  • Break/fix support, resolve open tickets, experience with ServiceNow is a strong plus but any ticketing system is OK
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: Level 1 troubleshooting
  • Support of company audio/visual system – basic fundamentals
  • Assist in supporting cloud-centric ecosystem that company operates
  • Maintain the availability and security of infrastructure through routine maintenance and system patching
  • Good documentation skills
  • Great communication skills, customer service oriented, takes initiative
  • Right attitude and willingness to learn
  • Experience with Jira is a plus
