GreenCoast Hydroponics CAD Team is hiring a Draft Assistant. The next Draft Assistant will work directly under the supervision of the CAD Designer, providing him/her with administrative support and assisting you with custom designs and floor plans, along with bills of material, in accordance with the vision of GreenCoast owners and its clientele.
Primary Duties
Manages and coordinates the designer's schedule of appointments, including, but not limited to, bookings, cancellations, and reservations
Assists the designer in compiling data and performing dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of the designer's drawings
Prints, cuts, and delivers the designer's plans and blueprints to owners and clientele, as required
Accompanies the designer to surveys newly acquired company store locations and develops floor plans for contractor teams to utilize during construction, as requested
Provides regular task/project updates to CAD designer
Other duties as assigned
Overall Skills
Efficient in AutoCAD 2000 and above, as well as Adobe Suite
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and via written documentation
Strong attention to pertinent details
Strong logic and critical thinking skills
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and projects
Position
This is an entry level, part time position of 25-30 hours a week.
There is possible growth into a full time Draft Design Coordinator position
