Our client is looking for a Data Engineer who will provide technical leadership to the team in designing and building, data marts and an enterprise data warehouse to enhance data capabilities and create a competitive advantage in the health industry. Actively participating in the design and build out of enterprise databases, the successful candidate will be expected to be hands on and able to provide leadership in varying knowledge of data management approaches. Currently they are building out their team so this Lead Data Engineer will be coming in to build that out, set up the data catalog, build models and integrate different systems to drive reporting. Code base for the team is Python. Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering role
- 1+ year in Leadership role/responsibilities
- Desire to advance career into a Data Architect position
- Python
- SQL
- AWS (open to Google Cloud Platform)
- Big Data experience
- Data Science exposure
- Knowledge of Machine Learning tools
- 60% Hands On
