Job Description Do you own pets? Or at least love furry animals? A series B start up that is based in San Francisco is looking for a Senior Android Developer to join their team and collaborate on their flagship application. This application provides a platform for pet owners to find non-emergency veterinary care and personalized pet product recommendations. As the company continuously grow rapidly, they are looking to add in new features and use AI learning to make it more personalized for pets and pet owners. The ideal candidate is empathy-driven (especially towards pets and pet owners) and enterprising because you will be leading a super greenfield application to the next level. This is a 100% remote role, and this is a great opportunity to make immediate impacts within the role and make it a better world for our pets!

Required Skills & Experience

3-4+ years of professional experience as an Android Engineer
Strong experience in Kotlin and Java
Strong experience working on Consumer Applications with larger user bases
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in a small startup environment
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
