BI Analyst
About the roleAs a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for developing, researching and implementing data analysis projects including but not limited to data reporting, data visualizations, and ad hoc research projects. Other key responsibilities include: Having development experience with SQL and SQL management systems such as Microsoft SQL Management StudioUsing Tableau dashboards and deploying Tableau dashboards to production environments on Tableau ServerUnderstanding of business intelligence concepts and ability to document complex processes in a detail oriented mannerUndertaking independent research with little oversight, solving technical problems through vendor websites (Tableau), and leveraging Google as a means to troubleshootWorking with diverse data sources, both structured and unstructuredMoving through the software development lifecycle using both waterfall and agile methodologies, move objects through development, UAT and production environments, and manage items through KanBan boardsChanging control and project documentation, both technical and functionalWorking with Project Manager on projects to design, develop, and deploy analytics solutionsAnalyzing and verifying internal consistency; completeness and accuracy of data systems, and making required adjustmentsActing as a resource to the firm on various data related questions for staff and other usersResponding to user questions and issues in a timely manner and assists with solutions About youWe d love to hear from you if you: Have strong SQL experience, along with data presentation and visualization skillsDemonstrate experience in installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and auditing the environmentHave the ability to comprehend and perform advanced data analysis and communicate data findings And have: A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Math, Economics, or a related field is desiredA minimum of three (3) years of work experience with SQL, data visualization, complex data analysis, and working with usersExperience with data visualization tools (Tableau), along with strong SQL skillsExperience with Python is desiredVacancy expired!
