Job Description My client offers a Free TV Streaming service that was recently acquired by ViacomCBS. They specialize in select web-series content partnering with some of Viacom's other mediums such as Paramount Pictures, MTV, etc. They are building out a new SRE organization under Daniel Simoes to manage their Production operations. He has currently 4 Openings, ideally looking for 3 AWS Cloud Operations heavy engineers and 1 with proficiency on Database reliability with Mongo and Redis specifically. Candidates should be fully versed in AWS's suite of offerings, as well as experienced with tools such as Terraform. They are also migrating their AWS infra from ECS to EKS so EKS experience is a Big Plus! Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years' experience in software development
- Degree in Computer Science or related or equivalent work experience
- Experience designing, implementing and running Node.js servers in demanding high traffic environments
- Experience building service-oriented APIs (GraphQL and REST API) and cloud services (preferable against AWS)
- Fully understands the concepts of "infrastructure as code"
- Experience writing for and deploying to AWS leveraging microservices
- Extremely technical hands-on server software experience
- Javascript, React or Angular
