Job Description: The Salesforce Business Analyst is a key contributor in transforming our Sales, Marketing and Client Management functions using Salesforce as an enabler. As part of a dynamic and growing team of talented Salesforce experts, this individual will be responsible for working with a diverse group of stakeholders to understand and refine processes, develop creative solutions, and realize value from the Salesforce platform. Under the guidance of the Product Manager, they will collaborate with business leaders, users, in-house developers and third party support to help bring the vision to life. This will include understanding, analyzing and documenting the people, process, technology, and data required to execute. Responsible for the design and execution of product features aligned with the overall product roadmap. They will have a mastery of the Salesforce product and partner closely with the Technology organization to implement the desired features. They will actively participate in scrum planning, release management, testing & validation. They continuously build colleagues confidence and effectiveness with new CRM capabilities through listening to, communicating with, and teaching their colleagues as an ambassador for change. They will build trust and drive adoption of the Salesforce platform through hands-on support and frequent engagement with the user base.

Understand business & how to improve it through technology enablement
Comprehensively understand CNRs business and how various groups and systems interact with each other
Document key business decisions, business processes and workflows in our knowledge base
Establish relationships with key business stakeholders and analyze their goals, needs and workflow
With assistance, ensure that Salesforce enables the business effectively and creates value
Contribute to the development of a vision and roadmap for Salesforce as part of a cross functional/inter-disciplinary team
Support Product Owners in engaging stakeholders across the business and technology organization to understand their needs, gain support for initiatives, and assess the impact of those initiatives on the business
Develop an expert understanding of the CRM landscape, keep on top of the Salesforce roadmap and strategy, industry news and the CRM ecosystem

Skills:
Identify, design and lead the development of new features
Engage a variety of business stakeholders to understand their needs
Act as the liaison amongst stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and validate business and system requirements
Translate ambiguously expressed needs into well-visualized workflows, prototypes, requirements and user stories with acceptance criteria
Work collaboratively with team members to deliver product features based on clear, concise user stories using Agile Systems Development Methodology
Develop sophisticated reports / dashboards and make other changes to Salesforce to support business reporting and other operational needs
Ensure that the system meets high standards for user-friendliness, efficiency, quality and maintainability
Conduct robust unit testing and development testing across functional work streams
Actively support and participate in change management and releases processes
Drive adoption & monitor value realization
Identify the key behaviors that indicate adoption and will drive increased sales, optimal service, and greater client satisfaction
Provide hands-on assistance and support end-users on an ad-hoc basis
Act as first line of defense and triage any user issues in production
Design, develop, and deliver training and communications materials to teach colleagues how to get maximum value from the products
Engage business leaders and user communities to effect change throughout the organization
Measure the effectiveness of these changes on KPIs

Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree required
3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst (Experience with Asset & Wealth Management Firms Preferred)
Salesforce Administrator & Platform App Builder Certifications Required; Sales & Service Cloud Consultant Certifications Preferred
Experience with agile systems development, conducting workshops, requirements gathering, user story development and test planning

Abilities, Job Skills and Knowledge:
Passion for the client and user experience
Sharp analytic skills with an ability to arrive at logical and quick conclusions
Fluency with the Salesforce platform and its native and configurable capabilities
Enough familiarity with both declarative and programmatic customization to be able to directionally identify the most expedient and appropriate way to address a functional need
Extensive knowledge and experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, including knowledge of new features, Salesforce products (Pardot, Einstein, Communities etc.) and AppExchange solutions
Must be able and willing to work outside of normal working hours/days in order to provide a superior customer service experience
Strong group and individual training experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and basic data transformation
Ability to manage competing priorities and manage time well
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to take on increasing scope and level of responsibilities as this role evolves
