Description A prestigious hospital organization is seeking a talented Remote Inpatient Medical Coder to join their organization. The inpatient medical coder will abstract charts for accurate DRG's and modifiers. The inpatient medical coder will support multispecialty departments and ensure they eet productivity measures. Additional responsibilities are below:JOB DUTIES · Over 3 years’ experience of inpatient hospital coding · Analyze multispecialty charts and review diagnosis and procedures to ensure accurate DRG’s, APC’s, and modifiers to ensure optimal reimbursement.· Specific specialties that coders will be supporting are Observation, Same Day Surgery, ED, Cancer, OP Diagnostic, and Imaging· Meet established department productivity measures and communicate coding discrepancies and findings with the supervisor.· CCS or CPC certification is required and systems with EPIC and 3M are a plusRequirements High school diploma or GED Systems experience with EPIC experience, 3M360 preferred Certified CCS or CPC coder is requiredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
